The roti that doesn’t need explaining.
In Hindi: Moringa ki Roti | Time: 2 minutes extra prep, same as usual | Serves: as many rotis as you make
You need
- Your regular quantity of whole wheat atta
- 1 tsp Moringa Ki Patti per cup of atta
- Water, salt — as usual
Method
Add moringa powder to the dry atta before adding water. Mix into the flour first so it distributes evenly. Then add water and knead as usual. The dough will be slightly green. The rotis will be slightly green. Nobody will complain. Everyone will eat an extra one.
Why this works
The moringa flavour is mild enough in atta that it disappears. What doesn’t disappear: the iron, protein, and vitamin C that go into every roti.
