How We Source
How We Source
The ingredient is only as good as where it came from. We start there.
Every ingredient in the Sendriya range has a specific origin — not because it is a marketing story, but because the geography of where a herb grows determines its chemical composition, its potency, and the farming practices it was grown with. Below is where each ingredient comes from and why.
Moringa (Moringa oleifera)
Southern India — primarily Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, where moringa trees have been farmed for generations as both food and medicine. We source leaves harvested at peak nutritional density, shade-dried to preserve vitamin content.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, where the semi-arid climate produces roots with the highest withanolide content. Withanolides are the active compounds — geography directly affects concentration. We verify withanolide content in every batch.
Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum)
Organic tulsi farms across central India. Tulsi grows across India but organic cultivation matters here — the herb is particularly effective at absorbing soil contaminants, which is why pesticide testing is essential for tulsi.
Dry Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
Kerala, Meghalaya, and Himachal Pradesh — the three primary ginger-growing regions of India. Roots are harvested at full maturity and sun-dried traditionally.
Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri)
Regions where brahmi grows natively near water — wetlands and slow streams in northern and central India. Shade-dried to preserve bacosides, which degrade with heat and light.
Triphala — Three Fruits, Three Regions
Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) from Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica) and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) from central India. Each fruit sourced separately and blended in classical equal proportion.
Shilajit
Himalayas — above 16,000 feet. Collected seasonally when it seeps from rock faces in summer. Purified by multi-stage filtration only. No heat, no binders.
Himalayan Salt
Khewra mine, Himalayan basin — one of the oldest and largest salt mines in the world. Hand-extracted, minimally crushed, packed without refinement or additives.
Green Tea (Camellia sinensis)
Darjeeling and Assam — India's two primary tea regions. Unoxidised leaves to preserve catechin content.
What We Don't Do
We do not blend from undisclosed mixed sources. We do not use contract manufacturers who won't share origin documentation. We do not stock ingredients that have failed our testing, even when supply is tight. We fail batches. That is what sourcing standards are for.
